It won't be long now before we're off on our trip to B.C. and Vancouver Island! I'm getting excited about our new adventure! It's been 7 years since we were last there, and I've sure missed that country. It will be a little strange not having any kids with us this trip, but for the Oregon leg of our trip, some friends will be joining us for a few days. Once we get up to Seattle, WA, we'll be picking up a friend of mine and taking her with us to Vancouver Island for four days! I'm so looking forward to that, exploring the Provencial Parks there and revisiting Buchart Gardens and the Butterfly Gardens in Victoria.
Yesterday was productive... got the dogs into the vets to get their boosters and check-ups for their certificates to leave the country. Shiloh needs his teeth brushed more though, and Ginger needs her ears flushed, but other than that, they got a clean bill of health! Scott's taking stock of all our camping and fishing gear, and our focus around home is to get things in order to go!
